This coonhound had two strikes against her. First, she is timid and startles at loud noises, so is an unlikely hunting partner. Second, she found herself pregnant before her first birthday. She was left in the night depository of a Spokane animal shelter with a belly that dragged to the ground. She found a quiet haven with Second Chance Pet Rescue volunteers just in time to give birth to six healthy pups. Two look like their momma – tricolored on white. Four are tricolored on blue, so the papa was likely a bluetick hound. Seven new homes are needed in early November. Reserve your puppy now or devote yourself to their sweet, deserving mother by calling 664-4106.
