Soccer group will host semiformal ball

Dig out your fancy duds and get ready to celebrate the Spokane Valley Junior Soccer Association’s 25th anniversary in style. The group is planning a “Soccer Ball,” 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 12 at CenterPlace at Mirabeau Point.

The semiformal evening will include dinner, dancing, a raffle and tunes by Little Moe Music. Tickets are $25.

The association has gone from a handful of recreational teams when it began to more than 3,000 participants in club and recreational soccer, plus the crown jewel of the Valley, the Plantes Ferry Park Soccer Complex.
