Look at my treasure!

In 1939, just before he joined the Canadian Royal Air Force and later WW II, Peter Aldous built a large scale-model of the sailing ship “Christine.”

Jim Cooper of Spokane, says Aldous never returned from the war and that it was a close friend of Aldous’s who gave him the ship in 1992.

Cooper had always admired the beautifully detailed craftsmanship that went into creating the model, and he has displayed it proudly in his home ever since it was given to him.
