Newman Lake SCOPE – Volunteers are planning to patrol the neighborhood on Halloween night. They also discussed plans for volunteers to assist with traffic control and crowd control at an upcoming EWU game and a flu shot clinic scheduled at the Fairgrounds on Nov. 15. University SCOPE - The next training class for new volunteers is set for Dec. 6. Volunteers will be selling tickets for the Festival of Giving. Next month new officers will be nominated. (Source: Vice president Carol Snider)

East SCOPE – A nominating committee was selected to recommend new officers. Volunteers will be patrolling the neighborhood on Halloween night. Also that night the SCOPE office at 4904 N. Harvard Road will stay open until 9:30 p.m. to hand out treats. (Source: Secretary Marilyn Greer)
