An unidentified worker operates a bottling machine at the Spokane Coca Cola plant in February 1953. The first Coca Cola plant came to Spokane in 1933 due to high trucking costs from the nearest plant in Seattle. The plant expanded and reopened in 1953, supplying the Inland Empire with bottled cola.
