RCA’s Digital Music Studio lets you transfer music from CDs to a portable player without firing up a computer. The studio includes both a portable player with 128 megabytes of storage and a five-disc CD player for listening to and transferring tunes from discs. Just dock the portable player into the top of the unit, insert a CD into the disc player, press record and music on the CD will be encoded for and transferred to the portable player automatically. The 160-watt system can handle a variety of formats, including MP3 and Windows Media Audio (WMA) files. It also includes a Secure Digital (SD) memory card slot, an AM/FM radio and an alarm clock.
