The league girls soccer season begins Tuesday with three games, as both GNL qualifiers for last year’s state tournament are in action. Pullman (2-1), which lost in the first round to eventual champion Naches, hosts Medical Lake (1-2); Riverside (0-1), which made the quarterfinals, travels to Nine Mile Falls to play Lakeside (0-2); and Chewelah (0-2) heads north to play Colville (2-0), which already beat the Cougars 2-0 in a non-league game. Deer Park (1-2) begins league play Sept. 22.
