Swimming Lessons – For preschoolers and home-schooled children Tuesdays and Thursdays from Oct. 18-Nov. 17 at Whitworth College Aquatic Center, 300 W. Hawthorne Road. Before- and After-school Programs – Educational and fun programs are available at the Northeast Youth Center, 4001 N. Cook. Transportation to and from some local elementary schools is available and state pay is accepted. Includes a USDA approved snack. X-Brain Yo-Yo – Learn amazing tricks at yo-yo classes at Colors on the Wind, 118 E. Wellesley Ave. Classes are Saturdays, 10 a.m.-noon. Registration and classes are free. For more information, call Becky at 484-5483.
