The University of Idaho men’s basketball team, along with the other eight WAC members, and Eastern Washington University will be involved in the fourth annual Bracket Buster Saturday.
The Vandals are one of four WAC teams that will be on the road on Saturday, Feb. 18. Five WAC teams will have home games.
The Big Sky will be represented by EWU, Northern Arizona, Montana and Montana State; the latter two will stage home games. The WCC will be represented by Saint Mary’s and Santa Clara.
There are 100 teams representing 18 conferences involved in Bracket Buster Saturday. Eleven of the games will be televised by ESPN’s family of channels, but those matchups and all others won’t be determined until Jan. 29. As part of the agreement, the 50 home teams will play a return game at the facility of their opponent in November or December of the following season.
