Gospel quartet to perform at First Church of Nazarene
Spokane First Church of the Nazarene, 9004 N. Country Homes Blvd., is hosting Liberty, a traditional Southern Gospel quartet, Sunday at 6 p.m.
The group travels to churches, prisons, conventions and nursing homes, and produces two recordings a year.
There is no charge for the performance, but donations will be accepted to benefit the group’s ministries.

Dinner and auction
Manito United Methodist Church, 3220 S. Grand Blvd., is presenting its annual auction and dinner Saturday at 5 p.m.
Items up on the block for the silent and live auction will include artwork, gift ideas and services, all provided by the church members. The proceeds will benefit the church’s budget.

Centennial celebration
New Vision Lutheran Church, 3007 E. Marshall Ave., is celebrating 100 years of worship this weekend.
The church, also known as Bethany Lutheran, will kick off the festivities with a reception Friday from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the church is hosting a barbecue with activities and a prayer meeting at 7 p.m.
The weekend will conclude with a celebratory service Sunday at 10 a.m.

Fall equinox ceremony
Ancient Traditions Community Church, 1928 E. Rich Ave., is offering a ceremony celebrating the fall equinox today from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
The ceremony will include songs, sacred dances, prayer and a sharing circle.
