“The Manito/Cannon Hill Neighborhood Council will meet at 7 tonight at Wilson Elementary School, 911 W. 25th Ave. Plans for a 27-unit, four-story condominium building with retail space on the ground floor and parking for 54 cars at 20th and Grand Boulevard will be presented.

“A meeting to introduce the draft residential development code to the southeast portion of the city will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday at the East Central Community Center, 500 S. Stone St.

The proposed code is expected to change how development occurs in all residential zones within the city.

Some of the features of the new residential development code include more housing options such as cottage housing, zero lot lines, accessory dwelling units, provisions for smaller lots, and transition areas between new and older developments.
