Wishing Star Foundation – Volunteers are needed to help the Development Coordinator with data entry, clerical and phones for five to 10 hours a week; some experience necessary; call the executive director at 744-3411.

Epilepsy Foundation Northwest Annual Walk: Step Into Summer – Volunteers are needed on Monday at Riverfront Park, North Bank Shelter, to post fliers, set up and take down at the walk area and to help with registration; All are welcome, no experience necessary, children are welcome if accompanied by adult; call Sharon at 325-1128.

Cancer Patient Care – A volunteer is needed to provide reception duties at Cancer Patient Care. Must have a welcoming attitude, greet patients and answer phones; must sign volunteer agreement and have background check; call Pam Goforth at 456-0446.

Muscular Dystrophy Association Summer Camp 2006 – Volunteers are needed to serve as camp counselors, medical staff, water safety instructors and activity coordinators. Camp is at Camp Twinlow in Rathdrum, Idaho from July 8-15. Must be at least 16 years old. Call the MDA at 325-3747 or visit the agency at 101 W. Indiana Ave.

Spokane Valley Meals on Wheels – Volunteers are needed to deliver meals to the elderly and disabled in Spokane Valley. Call Jayne Seaboldt at 924-6976.
