“Greater Spokane League softball: Kristina DeMello struck out 19 of the 21 batters she faced and earned her first career perfect game as Mt. Spokane topped visiting Clarkston (6-4) 5-0 Tuesday. Heather Steele went 2 for 3 with a triple and three RBIs to lead the Wildcats’ (8-3) offensive charge. … Sam Skillingstad struck out 18 in a seven-inning no-hitter to lead Shadle Park to a 5-0 win over visiting North Central. Robin Conrad went 2 for 3 with three RBIs for the Highlanders (11-0). Kelsey Vallies struck out seven and didn’t allow any runs after the second inning for the Indians (7-4). In her last four starts, Skillingstad has tossed two perfect games and a no-hitter while collecting 64 strikeouts and allowing one run on two hits in 25 innings. … Sam Shelton’s RBI double in the bottom of the seventh capped a three-run rally that pushed Rogers to a 5-4 win over visiting University. Shelton finished 3 for 4 with three RBIs, and Athena Gracier chipped in three hits, including a double, a triple and an RBI for the Pirates (8-3). Chantal Waide added three hits, three RBIs and three runs scored on the day for the Timberwolves (7-2, 6-1). … Sean Topp pitched a shutout in the opener then carried the offense in the second game to lead Post Falls to a doubleheader sweep of visiting Moscow (4-5, 2-4). “Great Northern League: Justin Naccarato grounded an infield single between third base and shortstop to score Ben Rathbun for the game-winning run in the top of the 11th inning, and Chewelah claimed a 5-4 win over host Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls). Casey Christianson pitched the final five innings for the Cougars (2-6), allowing just one unearned run to pick up the win. The Eagles (7-3) put a man on first base with one out in the bottom of the 11th inning, but grounded into a double-play to end the game. … Pullman used solid pitching to win the early game, and Riverside needed balanced hitting to grab the second game as the Greyhounds (3-2) and Rams (5-4) split a doubleheader in Riverside. Ryan Druffel allowed two hits and struck out seven in a complete-game shutout, and Pullman notched a 2-0 win in the first game. Taylor McMahon went 2 for 2 with three RBIs, and winning-pitcher Kyle Hjelm knocked the game-winning RBI single in the fifth inning of Riverside’s 5-4 win in the nightcap. … Trevor Bateman batted 3 for 4 with three RBIs and two runs scored to lead Colville (7-4) to an 8-2 win at Deer Park (0-10).

Dan Hamilton went 3 for 4 with four RBIs, and Mike Aune also went 3 for 4 with two RBIs for the Trojans (6-5, 4-5). The second game of the doubleheader was called in the eighth inning because of darkness with the score tied at 3. A makeup date has not been set.
