Shock’s Nelson deserves accolades

Last year, when Brady Nelson was negotiating a lease with the PFD to bring arena football to Spokane, I wrote here that it was a bad idea. I feared the loss of support for our other area teams.

Nelson and his staff have done an unbelievable job of launching a very competitive team and the fans have responded in incredible fashion. As far as those other teams, they’ll just have to work harder to get fan support.

I will always give a nod to any team that gives fans in our area reason to celebrate. We work hard and deserve a celebration now and then. Best wishes and continued success for this organization and to the thousands of supporting fans, may you continue to “Get Shocked!”
