Fairfield City Council – The Friends of Hart Park made a presentation against a proposed skate park in Hart Park. After discussion, the council decided the proposed park should be located in Thiel Park. Council members discussed applying for a Transportation Improvement Project grant to do a pavement overlay on Main Street and replace the sidewalks on the north side of Main Street. There was also cake and a small celebration in honor of Deputy Clerk Donna McLean’s 30 years of service to the city. (Source: Town Clerk Sue Adams)

Rockford City Council – Council members discussed possible locations for an asphalt pathway in the city park. A few development fees were raised. Members met in executive session to discuss legal issues. (Source: Town Clerk)

Liberty Lake SCOPE – A representative of the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office spoke about the McGruff Safe House program. Volunteers discussed staffing at upcoming community events.
