Woman accused of trying to strangle in-law
GREAT FALLS – A Great Falls woman is charged with attempted murder, accused of trying to strangle her daughter-in-law with a computer cord.
Kimberly Patricia Lawler, 41, appeared in District Court Wednesday and is jailed on $100,000 bail.
Court records said Lawler wrapped a computer cord around her daughter-in-law’s neck and made three separate attempts at strangling the 25-year-old shortly before 5 p.m. on Monday. The daughter-in-law managed to escape to a neighbor’s house.
