Dog park meeting Aug. 30

The Spokesman-Review

People interested in helping to organize the county’s first-ever dog park have an opportunity to get involved.

Friends of SCRAPS Dog Park will meet Aug. 30 at the Spokane County Cooperative Extension Office, 222 N. Havana St. from 6 to 8 p.m.

Volunteers are needed, according to SCRAPS, and anyone seeking information can call Nancy Hill at 477-1967 or e-mal at nhill@spokanecounty.org.

The dog park is scheduled to open in October and will be on 3.5 acres near the Stateline rest area.
