Jensen, Warner win triathlon

Adam Jensen and Annie Warner were a cut above the field on Saturday at the Coeur d’Alene Triathlon.

Jensen, 26, won the men’s competition with a time of 2 hours, 3 minutes and 26 seconds, while Warner, 26, topped the women’s event with a time of 2:14:50.

Cameron Chesnut (2:07:07) was second for the men, followed by Joe Byers (2:09:30), Ben Greenfield (2:09:50) and Drew Magill (2:10:52).

Haley Cooper was runner-up for the women with a time of (2:18:42), followed by Suzanne Endsley (2:25:13), Kirsten DeHart (2:26:02) and KC Richards (2:30:17).

Ronald Hill was the oldest man to finish the race. The 69-year-old clocked in at 3:26.19. Stephanie Schrimshire, also 69, was the oldest woman to complete the race, finishing in 4:46.27.

Sean Linder, 33, won the duathlon portion of the event, finishing in 2:02:14. He was followed by Billy Grona (2:11:14) and Trevor Gillum (2:12:28).

Kelly Rice, 27, won the women’s duathlon in 2:14:33 – followed by Cathy Compton (2:24:33) and Mary McCormick (2:24:59).
