Somebody needs you

Somebody Needs You helps match donors with needy Spokane residents. Requests are coordinated by the Volunteers of America in cooperation with social service agencies in Spokane.

If you have an item to donate, please contact the agency listed below. Donors who can deliver items are especially appreciated.

•Disabled senior low-income female needs a queen-size mattress. Contact Joanne at Catholic Charities, 327-6368.

•Low-income single mother of one needs a vacuum cleaner, two dressers, twin bed with frame, broom, mop, TV and microwave. Contact Michelle at Transitional Living Center, 327-0418.

•Low-income senior male needs a washer and dryer. Contact Tammy at Elder Services, 458-7450.

•Low-income mother with one baby needs dressers, queen size sheets, crib sheets and winter clothes for boy, in sizes 18 months and 24 months. Contact Selina at CHAS, 434-0297.

•Grandmother who just took in child needs a toddler bed. Contact Marianne at SNAP, 487-1114.
