Somebody needs you

Somebody Needs You helps match donors with needy Spokane residents. Requests are coordinated by the Volunteers of America in cooperation with social service agencies in Spokane.

If you have an item to donate, please contact the agency listed below. Donors who can deliver items are especially appreciated.

■Low-income female needs a manual or electric hospital bed. Contact Dianne at ALTCEW, 458-2509, ext. 239.

■Low-income senior man needs two bookshelves. Contact Joanne at Catholic Charities, 327-6368.

■Senior woman needs a small chair. Contact Joanne at Catholic Charities, 327-6368.

•Foster kids aging out of care need school supplies, backpacks, pens, pencils, college-ruled paper, notebooks, calculators and folders. Contact Sheri at Volunteers of America, 482-5095.

•Low-income single mother with 6-year-old daughter needs a small table, folding table, kitchen chairs, dressers, microwave, fax machine and stand mixer. Contact Michelle at Transitional Living Center, 327-0418.

•Single mother with one child needs a dresser. Contact Kylie at Volunteers of America. 535-8267.
