Wildlife excursion – Visit Cat Tales north of Spokane and Wolf People in Cocolalla, Idaho, with the Hillyard Senior Center on Monday. Center pickup at 4001 N. Cook is at 9 a.m. with home pickups following. The cost is $18, which includes transportation and admission but not lunch. Call 482-0803 for reservations.

Movie day – The Hillyard Senior Center, 4001 N. Cook, hosts a showing of “Eight Below,” 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. Admission is $1 and the popcorn is free. Call 482-0803.

Ombudsman program – A free seminar on the ombudsman program will be held from 11-11:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Corbin Senior Activity Center, 827 W. Cleveland. Call 327-1584.

Jacks and Jenny’s Dance Club – Meets the third Saturday of each month from August through May at the North Spokane Dance Center, 7424 N. Freya. Pre-round is 7:30-8 p.m., ROM from 8-8:30 p.m. and mainstream dance from 8:30-10:30 p.m. The cost is a $4 donation. For information, call Jeanette Blood at 487-7446.
