Braves 13, Giants 8: At Atlanta, Barry Bonds hit two homers but Andruw Jones went deep twice, and Chipper Jones and Adam LaRoche also homered as the Braves beat San Francisco.

Marlins 9, Cardinals 1: At St. Louis, Dan Uggla homered and drove in four runs as Florida won its ninth straight game.

Astros 10, Brewers 3: At Houston, pinch-hitter Jason Lane had a grand slam that led to the win over Milwaukee.

Padres 8, Diamondbacks 3: At Phoenix, Mike Piazza and Geoff Blum homered as San Diego beat Arizona. Chris Young gave up just three hits over seven innings to secure the win.
