Vince Young and the Titans did it again – spectacularly.

Young ran for a 39-yard touchdown in overtime Sunday to give Tennessee a 26-20 win over the Houston Texans for their a straight comeback victory.

Young ran into the end zone virtually untouched and then jumped into the stands to the open arms of a throng of burnt orange-clad fans. He then blew kisses and waved to the crowd.

Young was 19 of 29 for 218 yards passing and he ran for another 86 yards.

Bengals 27, Raiders 10: At Cincinnati, Carson Palmer threw for a pair of touchdowns and Rudi Johnson ran for two more, setting up a victory over Oakland that strengthened Cincinnati’s playoff chances.

T.J. Houshmandzadeh had eight catches for 118 yards against the NFL’s top-ranked pass defense. Chad Johnson had five catches for 101 yards.

Ravens 20, Chiefs 10: At Kansas City, Mo., Ed Reed had two interceptions and Steve McNair hooked up with Mark Clayton for an 87-yard score, leading Baltimore to a victory over Kansas City.

The Ravens forced three turnovers and sacked Trent Green four times.

Larry Johnson ran for 120 yards for the Chiefs.

Eagles 21, Redskins 19: At Landover, Md., Jeff Garcia went 15 for 23 for 164 yards with two touchdown passes in another solid outing to improve to 2-1 as the starter since Donovan McNabb’s season-ending injury.

Brian Westbrook had 88 yards rushing and 38 receiving to help put Philadelphia over Washington.

Westbrook ended the day 5 yards shy of his first 1,000-yard rushing season.

Jaguars 44, Colts 17: At Jacksonville, Fla., rookie Maurice Drew ran for a career-high 166 yards and two touchdowns, had a 93-yard kickoff return for a score, and Jacksonville literally ran Indianapolis out of town with a surprising victory.

Fred Taylor was equally effective against the league’s worst run defense, gaining 131 yards on nine carries before leaving the game with a sore right hamstring.

Falcons 17, Buccaneers 6: At Tampa, Fla., the NFL’s top rushing team lost Warrick Dunn and Jerious Norwood within a span of five plays of the third quarter, but seldom-used Justin Griffith came in to finish a 71-yard drive with a 21-yard touchdown burst that helped Atlanta beat Tampa Bay.

Griffith finished with a team-high 57 yards rushing on 12 carries.

Dolphins 21, Patriots 0: At Miami, Miami sacked Tom Brady four times, forced him to fumble twice, held him to 78 yards passing and blanked New England.

Sammy Morris rushed for a career-high 123 yards and a score for the Dolphins.

Vikings 30, Lions 20: At Detroit, Artose Pinner had career highs with 125 yards rushing and three touchdowns to lift Minnesota to a win over Detroit.

Playing in place of the injured Chester Taylor, Pinner ran for TDs on Minnesota’s first two drives to double his previous career high in scoring.

Giants 27, Panthers 13: At Charlotte, N.C., Tiki Barber rushed for 112 yards, Eli Manning threw three touchdown passes and New York snapped a four-game losing streak with a win over Carolina.

Chris Weinke, making his first start in more than four years in place of the injured Jake Delhomme, threw for a team-record 423 yards, but had three second-half interceptions.

Bills 31, Jets 13: At East Rutherford, N.J., Willis McGahee scored on a 57-yard run, Lee Evans had a 77-yard TD catch and Nate Clements returned an interception 58 yards for a score in Buffalo’s victory over New York.

McGahee, who playfully told Jets linebacker Jonathan Vilma during the week that he couldn’t be stopped, had 125 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries.

Packers 30, 49ers 19: At San Francisco, Brett Favre passed for 293 yards and hit Donald Driver for a 68-yard touchdown as Green Bay snapped a three-game losing streak with a victory over San Francisco.

Favre went 22 for 34 and surpassed 3,000 yards passing for the 15th straight season to extend his own NFL record.

Frank Gore rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown for the 49ers.

Chargers 48, Broncos 20: At San Diego, LaDainian Tomlinson scored three touchdowns, including the final two in a span of 47 seconds late in the game, to break the NFL single-season record with 29 TDs. He led the Chargers to a win over Denver.

This game was all about Tomlinson, who has become the MVP frontrunner by scoring 26 touchdowns in the last nine games.
