The Spokesman-Review

A man wielding a box cutter who robbed a Walgreen’s drug store is being sought by the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.

Oscar Iverson, 31, is a suspect in the robbery, according to the Sheriff’s Office. He is described as black, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 155 pounds, said Cpl. Dave Thornburg. Iverson is wanted on a count of first-degree robbery.

On Nov. 4, a man fitting Iverson’s description went into Walgreen’s at 7905 N. Division, jumped over the pharmacy counter, displayed a box cutter and demanded methadone and oxycodone pills, Thornburg said.

Iverson is also wanted on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance and escape from community custody on four first-degree robbery convictions involving Walgreen’s pharmacies in 2000.

Anyone who knows Iverson’s whereabouts is asked to call (509) 242-8477 or 911.
