Gonzaga freshman Matt Bouldin is averaging 16.5 points, 4.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds in his two games as a Bulldogs starter and has lifted his season scoring average to 8.8 points per game, second among WCC rookies to only Saint Mary’s Omar Samhan, who is averaging 9.2. … Loyola Marymount’s 84-82 double-overtime win Tuesday over Boise State produced several milestones, including a school-record nine steals and career-high 10 rebounds by Damian Martin. The Lions also got a career-high 23 points from Adoyah Miller and 32 points from Matthew Knight, who equaled his career scoring high. … San Diego’s six-game winning streak, the longest in the WCC, will be severely tested Friday when the Toreros (8-4) entertain UC Santa Barbara (8-2), a team that has won four in a row and boasts a 5-0 road record. … Portland (2-11) has lost eight consecutive games.
