Boggan lifts Cowboys past Panthers

Mario Boggan scored a career-high 30 points and had a crucial putback in the final minute to help lift No. 15 Oklahoma State to a 95-89 double-overtime win over seventh-ranked Pittsburgh on Thursday in Oklahoma City.

Marcus Dove hit one of two free throws at the other end before Boggan hit two with 1:42 left in double overtime for Oklahoma State’s (10-2) first lead of the period at 88-87.

Antonio Graves missed a 3-pointer from the right wing and Boggan was able to score off of Byron Eaton’s miss for a three-point Oklahoma State (12-1) lead in the final minute.

(20) Notre Dame 88, Army 47: At South Bend, Ind., Colin Falls scored a season-high 24 points and the Irish beat the Black Knights (9-3) for their ninth straight victory – Notre Dame’s longest winning streak in 20 years.

With Falls making all seven shots he took in the first half, Notre Dame (10-1) led 46-20 at halftime.
