As in, the TiNo Syndrome, the habit of people who use TiVo digital video recorders and don’t watch much of what they record. Source of the phrase seems to be Tim Goodman, San Francisco Gate’s media critic. His example: “I’ve TiNo’d half the season. We’ll see if I ever get time to watch.”
