$3.3 million still waiting
Check that wad of receipts in your wallet. Dig around the bottom of your Christmas stocking.
But most importantly, don’t take out the trash.
Someone who bought a Dec. 24 lottery ticket at the Zip Trip at Highway 2 and Mt. Spokane Park Drive is a millionaire, three times over.
The question is, whose Christmas present is worth $3.3 million?
The person with the winning Lotto numbers – 3, 17, 23, 26, 34, 43 – has not yet come forward, Zip Trip President Ian Johnstone said Monday afternoon.
Johnstone said the Mead store was notified late Saturday by Washington Lottery that a winning ticket had been sold there. The store will receive $33,000.
More significantly, someone may go back to work today not knowing the long holiday weekend could last a lifetime.
