Paul Swofford, manager of Alert Cellular, reported Wednesday the $1,262 theft from the register of the business at Silver Lake Mall in the 200 block of West Hanley Avenue.

Kootenai County sheriff

Sharon Cheney, Hayden, reported Wednesday the $500 damage to a bearskin rug at her residence in the 10900 block of North Reed Road.

Michael Boyles, employee of The Ski Shack, Hayden, reported Wednesday the $400 theft of a brown snowboard-style coat from the business in the 9400 block of North Government Way.
