Girls basketball: Mead beats Shadle Park
Senior Alysha Green scored 17 points and Kami Clark added 12 as Mead defeated host Shadle Park 51-43 Friday in a Greater Spokane League game.
Lexi Bishop scored 13 points and Lexie Pettersen chipped in 12 for the Highlanders (5-4), who shot just 2 of 18 from the field in the fourth quarter.
The Panthers (7-2) outscored Shadle 19-8 in the decisive fourth quarter.
