Knowledge is key to success

To support education or not to support education, that is the question.

My two children currently attend Central Valley schools. Both have participated in the “ABLES” program. I would like to say thank you to those voters who came before me and voted to support CV’s bonds and levies. Their yes votes allowed my children to have an “ABLES” to attend, go to new or remodeled schools, have varied curriculum and extra-curricular options, and be taught by dedicated educators.

Those earlier taxpayers may or may not have had kids attending CV at the time of their vote. Perhaps they didn’t even have kids. But they acted unselfishly. They must have realized knowledge is the key to success and children are our future.

Now the tables are turned and I have the opportunity to support children who may not even be in school yet. Yes, we all do, by voting yes twice for Central Valley School District’s bond and levy and returning your ballot in the mail on or before March 14.
