Let’s boycott Budweiser

The Spokesman-Review

I’m sure everyone watched the debacle. Let’s review … the score?

Seattle Seahawks 10, Pittsburgh Steelers 14, Referees 14.

I knew the game was over the minute we scored a touchdown and it was ruled out because our receiver had the termerity to be within arms length of the defender. And it went downhill from there – Ben’s touchdown wasn’t, our touchdown was. The score should have been 17 to 14! Even the officials in the booth above said Ben R.’s touchdown wasn’t. Every time Seattle made a great play the officials called it back.

Sorry Seahawks, you can’t beat the officials.

The NFL, of course, won’t let you complain about them either – but as fans, we can. Write the NFL. Tell it to yank these bozos’ credentials. If I were a Stealers (yes, spelling is intentional … tell Ben next time, don’t assume you’ve made it …) fan, I’d hang my head in shame. Personnally – for the next year I won’t buy Budwieser beer – I’d recommend no one in the Pacific Northwest buy Budwieser beer – if the NFL won’t listen to us, they will listen to their sponsors.
