Church offers classes for grieving, divorced

A Valley church will begin offering two classes this week for those who are wounded in spirit by divorce or the loss of a loved one.

Mirabeau Chapel will host a 13-week DivorceCare series beginning Monday at 3001 N. Pines Road. The group will meet every Monday at 6:30 p.m.

Each evening there also will be a DivorceCare for Kids class for children ages 5 to 12. Child care will be available for children under age 5.

The class is free, though there is a $13.50 charge for an optional workbook.

Mirabeau Chapel will also host a new 13 week GriefShare class beginning Monday. The group for those grieving a loved one will gather every Monday at 7 p.m. at the church.

No talent, no problem

Have a little fun at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church’s spaghetti feed and Untalent Talent Show on Sunday. The event begins at 5 p.m. at the church, 2511 S. Pines Road.

The cost is $5 per person or $15 per family.

Proceeds will go to the Tri-Lutheran Youth Ministries.

Blood drive

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church will host the mobile blood donor coach from the Inland Northwest Blood Center from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday. No appointments are necessary.
