Girl Scouts Inland Empire Council – needs summer program leaders in Sandpoint, Colville and Newport. Volunteers will run a six-week summer program beginning mid-June. Program includes an hour-long activity after the free-lunch program at area schools. Contact Shawna Sampson at 747-8091 for more information.

Spokane Valley Meals on Wheels – is looking for drivers to deliver hot and nutritious meals to elderly and disabled persons in the Spokane Valley. Volunteers can choose a route any day Monday through Friday. Must use own vehicle. For more information, contact Jayne Seabolt at 924-6976.

SpokAnimal CARE – needs volunteers to assist potential adopters, exercise dogs and puppies, wash food and water dishes, clean kennels and scrub kennel fencing. Must be at least 15-years of age; orientation is required. $15 fee for juniors and $25 fee for adults, which includes T-shirt. Call Laura Thulean at 534-8133 for more information.
