YMCA skateboarding event Saturday

If you like to skateboard, don’t let the snow keep you inside this Saturday.

The YMCA will heat the concrete at its skate park for Dig Out in the Park from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Skaters with a helmet and a signed waiver can skate to sound of live music or check out an auction of decks decorated by regional artists.

Pros Scott Yamamura and Anthony Carney also are scheduled to attend, and Yamamura’s new movie will show down the street at the Valley Mall.
