Spokane Valley

Monday, offices closed for Presidents Day.

6 p.m. Tuesday, Spokane Valley City Hall, 11707 E. Sprague Ave. At its regular meeting, the City Council will continue its deliberations on the new Comprehensive Plan, including chapters on housing, neighborhoods and the environment.

6 p.m. Thursday, Spokane Valley City Hall, second floor conference room. The council will hold a special meeting to deliberate the Comprehensive Plan’s parks and recreation chapter.

Spokane County Health Board

12:30 p.m. Thursday, Rooms 320/321, Public Health Center, 1101 W. College Ave.; subcommittee appointments, food and school advisory committee appointments, possible action on health officer salary.

Spokane County commissioners

9:30 a.m. Tuesday, commissioners’ boardroom, Spokane County Courthouse. The board will hear an update about the county’s management of mental health services.

2 p.m. Tuesday, commissioners’ hearing room, Public Works Building, 1026 W. Broadway Ave. Items include consideration of River Crossing second addition, a 48-lot, 11-acre residential subdivision between Spokane Valley and Liberty Lake; consideration of Pine View Estates, a 10-lot, 69-acre subdivision near state Highway 27 and Morrow Park Road; and consideration of Brooke Meadows at Falcon Ridge, a 12-lot, 10-acre subdivision near Strong and Five Mile roads.

5 p.m. Tuesday, commissioners’ hearing room, Public Works Building, 1026 W. Broadway Ave. Items include consideration of an alteration to Fairfield’s voting precinct.
