Springtime at home show

The Home and Garden show is coming to the Spokane Fair and Expo Center this weekend. Are you ready for a little spring fever?

More than 300 exhibitors will bring the latest and hottest home improvement tips and techniques, landscaping trends and decorating tools to fire you up for warm weather.

To help you get the most out of the show, follow these tips:

•Pack your own tools. Bring a list of the projects you’re planning to tackle this year.

•Take note. Bring a notebook to jot down contact info for the exhibitors that you think might fit your needs.

• Bag it. If you’ve got a backpack, consider slipping it on before the show. Often exhibitors pass out freebies and you want to be able to keep your hands free.

•Take a picture. It will last longer. Pack the digital camera to help you record the exhibits that catch your eye.

•Look for bargains. Often, vendors will offer special discounts on merchandise displayed at the show.

•Show a little style. Slip into your favorite jeans and wear comfortable shoes. You want to feel good all day.
