Street trees will be topic for Manito/Cannon Hill

Meetings

• The Manito/Cannon Hill Neighborhood Council will meet at 7 tonight at Wilson Elementary School, 911 W. 25th Ave.

Bob Scarfo, a professor at Washington State University, will present street tree fact sheets and general information regarding street trees and what other communities have done to integrate trees into their urban plan. Also on the agenda: spring-cleaning event and update on Bernard Street project.

• The West Hills Neighborhood Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Days Inn on the Sunset Hill. Call Neighborhood Services at 625-6730 for more information regarding meeting location.

• The Browne’s Addition Neighborhood Council will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture, 2316 W. First Ave., Gilkey Community Room.

• The Rockwood Neighborhood Council will meet at 7 p.m., next Thursday in the Guild Room of the Jewett House at St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral, 127 E. 12th Ave.
