Fenenbock shines as LC beats Moscow
Richelle Fenenbock finished with 23 points on 9-of-15 shooting and added five steals and four assists as Lake City held off Moscow 52-46 in Inland Empire League action Saturday in Coeur d’Alene.
Katy Baker chipped in with 18 points and six rebounds for Lake City (8-7, 5-3).
Kelly Scott led the way for Moscow (3-10, 2-4) with 10 points, while Lauren Bender and Sara Picard each added nine points.
•Amanda Seeling finished with 10 points and Marissa Bush added nine as Kellogg (9-7, 4-1 Intermountain League) beat St. Maries (7-5, 1-2) 50-35 during Senior Night action in Kellogg. Sam Siron led the way with a game-high 16 points for St. Maries. … Tabitha Clark had 17 points and 11 rebounds as Priest River (7-7, 1-2) led 12-2 after the first quarter and cruised to a 57-41 win over Timberlake (3-10, 0-4) at Priest River. Alicia Schanilec added 10 points and eight rebounds for the Spartans, while Lynsie Powers had led the way for Timberlake with 17 points.
•Wynonna Johnson was 10 of 15 from the field, finishing with 20 points, seven rebounds and four steals as Lakeside (6-7, 2-3) beat Mullan (1-9, 0-3) 53-30 in North Star League action at Plummer. Davi Sawn added 15 points, and Rian Miller chipped in with eight points, nine rebounds and six blocks for the Knights. Katlyn Valerio led the way for Mullan with 13 points.
•Claire Moberg finished with 14 points as Freeman (9-1) pulled away late to earn a 42-32 non-league win over Post Falls (6-7) at Post Falls. Carley Heinen added 10 points for the Scotties. Jenney McVeigh had 16 points and five rebounds to lead the Trojans, who were up by two points at halftime, while Katie Boviall added 11 points.

Courtney Gavin added 14 points and Kia Gibson 13 for Lakeside (6-4, 2-0).
