3:30 p.m. Monday, Council Chambers, City Hall, approval of routine items and briefing on Jan. 17 agenda.

6 p.m. Monday, Council Chambers, City Hall, consideration of property tax exemptions for two multifamily projects, including one in the former JC Penney building at Post Street and Main Avenue and another at Garfield Street and 29th Avenue on the South Side.

Boundary Review Board

3 p.m. Monday, Public Works Hearing Room, lower level, 1026 W. Broadway Ave. The board will consider several annexation issues.

Spokane County commissioners

9:30 a.m. Tuesday, weekly meeting with county CEO, commissioners’ offices, Spokane County Courthouse, 1116 W. Broadway Ave. They will discuss plans for a southside park, the park-naming policy and sponsorship opportunities.

2 p.m. Tuesday, weekly meeting, commissioners’ hearing room, lower level, Public Works Building, 1026 W. Broadway Ave. The agenda includes a policy on naming county parks.

Spokane Valley City Council

6 p.m. Tuesday, City Hall, 11707 E. Sprague Ave. The council will consider funding for a school resource officer at East Valley High School and off-road vehicle use in residential areas.

6 p.m. Thursday, City Hall, the council will hold a special meeting to deliberate land use in the comprehensive plan.

Spokane County Planning Commission

9 a.m. Thursday, Conference Room 2B, Public Works Building, 1026 W. Broadway Ave. The commission will elect its officers, deliberate on the 2005 comprehensive plan amendments and discuss the shoreline program.

Spokane Regional Transportation Council Board Meeting

6 p.m. Thursday, City Hall, regular meeting.
