St. George’s presents ‘Laramie Project’

St. George’s School will present the drama “The Laramie Project” at 7 p.m. Monday and Wednesday in the school’s Founders Theater, 2929 W. Waikiki Road.

The play, based on interviews with the residents of a small Western town, explores their reactions to the high-profile murder of Matthew Shepard in 1998.

Admission is free. There will be no reserved seating.

“The Laramie Project” performances begin on Martin Luther King Jr. Day and mark the start of a Focus on Tolerance Week at St. George’s. The week will include readings, reflections and discussions to promote respect for all people regardless of differences.
