New fee will be assessed for uncovered dump loads

A new fee is being charged this year if any load of material delivered to the Waste to Energy facility or the solid waste transfer stations isn’t properly covered or secured.

Loads must be covered with a tarp or secured with a rope or other means so nothing spills out.

The fee will be charged at the time of service and added to the user’s disposal charge. Fees are $5 for pickup loads, 1 to 3 cubic yards, and $15 for loads more than 3 cubic yards.
