Curlew wins Panorama showdown with Selkirk

Cody Groth scored 26 points as Curlew rallied to defeat host Selkirk 68-60 in a battle of Panorama League powers at Ione.

Austin Mannick added 16 for the Cougars (10-2, 7-1), who outscored the Rangers 25-12 in the third quarter to take a six-point lead.

Mikki Cromwell led Selkirk (9-4, 6-1) with 17 points, and Clint March pulled down 10 rebounds.

In other Panorama action, Henry Butler scored 20 points as St. George’s defeated visiting Columbia 71-52. Jeffrey Livingston added 17 points and seven rebounds for the Dragons (6-5, 3-3). Tyson Dashiell led the Lions (0-9, 0-7) with 14 points. … Zach and Derek Gianukakis scored 22 points apiece as Republic won its 36th straight league game with an 86-30 rout of Cusick (6-6, 3-3). Adam Hancock added 12 points for the Tigers (10-2, 8-0). … Cody Peone had 34 points and nine rebounds to lead Inchelium to a 79-56 victory over Springdale. Lance Ragan added 20 points for the Hornets (5-8, 4-4). Jeff Vanderholm led the Chargers (2-8, 1-6) with 21 points. … Jake Green had 22 points and 11 rebounds, and T.J. Shad Strerath scored 16 points and Pullman rallied from a 13-point deficit in the fourth quarter to defeat host Riverside 62-61 in overtime in a Great Northern League game. J.T. Levenseller added 13 points for the Greyhounds (9-1, 3-0), who outscored the Rams 24-11 in the fourth to tie the game at 55. Jason Paul had 18 points and 15 rebounds for Riverside (6-4, 1-2), which shot 1 of 5 from the free-throw line in overtime. … Travis Corigliano scored 16 points to lead Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls) to a 57-36 victory over host Deer Park.
