T-shirt designs sought for Dash

Artists with an eye for tulips and the urge to run are invited to submit designs for the 24th annual Spring Dash T-Shirt contest sponsored by the United Way of Kootenai County.

People of all ages using any kind of media may participate. The winning design will be printed on more than 3,000 shirts to be distributed to participants in the Spring Dash 5-kilometer run scheduled for April 23. The design winner will receive a $100 savings bond from Bank of America.

Entries must be received or postmarked by Feb. 17. They must be submitted on paper and include these words: tulips, 24th Annual Spring Dash, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Submit entries to the United Way of Kootenai County, 401 Front St., Suite 201, Coeur d’Alene ID 83814. Artists should include name, address and telephone number.

The winning entry becomes property of the Spring Dash Committee.

The Spring Dash is sponsored by Bank of America and the Coeur d’Alene Press newspaper. Proceeds will benefit the local United Way. Entry forms will be available Feb. 10 at all sponsor locations.
