A striking combination of beauty and practicality, this elegant lingerie chest project is a natural for any decor. Its clean lines, maple finish, sturdy construction and simplicity of design make it an instant classic that will become an heirloom for generations to come.

The chest features a generously sized top (perfect for fresh flowers or photographs) over seven large drawers. Designed for lingerie, fine knits and other delicate articles of clothing, the drawers travel on precision slides to ensure smooth, quiet operation.

What you do

Despite its sophisticated appearance, the project is easy to build. All straight cuts, step-by-step instructions and detailed diagrams simplify building the cabinet and aligning the drawers. Although careful measuring and cutting are required, construction is a simple matter of assembling the pieces with glue and nails, finishing the chest and installing the hardware.

The completed lingerie chest measures about 27 inches wide by 17 inches deep by 59 inches tall.
