Canoeing/Kayaking

Cycling
July 8: Railroad History on Bikes. Dr. Charles Mutschler, a train historian leads this class. Learn about the development of western railroads and particularly that of the SP&S. The former rail line is now the Columbia Plateau Trail State Park. About seven miles of the paved and fine gravel surface will be covered during this half-day field trip. Class size is limited to 18. Fishing/Hunting
July 12-13: Reading Water and Basic Entomology. Two nights of learning how to read water on lakes/rivers and learn the basic insects 7-9 p.m. at the Silver Bow Fly Shop. Course fee is $30 (call to reserve space). Info: Sean, 924-9998.
