Metal taken from Inland Power and Light

The Spokesman-Review

More metal is missing after a theft Thursday night at an Inland Power and Light storage area at 11315 S. Dishman-Mica Road.

The thieves cut through cyclone fence to reach the 1 1/2-inch aluminum cable about 6:30 a.m. Thursday, said Spokane Valley Police spokesman Sgt. Dave Reagan.

A driver spooked the thieves when he drove by, Reagan said. The driver said the men appeared to be white and in their 20s. They dropped some of the metal and drove off in an older white Volvo, Reagan said.

Anyone with information is asked to call 242-TIPS.
