The county is selling the building to the city to use for the city’s police department and is planning to lease some space there to maintain some county services in the building.

9 a.m. Thursday, Commissioners’ Hearing Room, Public Works Building. Commissioners will consider an amendment to the county’s comprehensive plan, its longterm growth proposal.

Spokane County Air Pollution Control Authority Board

9:30 a.m. Thursday, Spokane Regional Health District Building, 1101 W. College Ave. Agenda includes a staff report about coffee roasting.

Spokane Valley City Council

6 p.m. Tuesday, City Hall, 11707 E. Sprague Ave. Agenda items include a collective bargaining agreement for city employees.

Spokane Valley Planning Commission

6 p.m. Thursday, City Hall, the commission will discuss a six-month extension of temporary, 1-acre zoning in the Ponderosa and Rotchford Acres neighborhoods. There will not be a public hearing until the issue is considered by the City Council.
