Report leads to meth arrest
Sheriff’s deputies found 10 ounces of methamphetamine in a man’s car after arresting him on two warrants.
The meth had a value of $6,000, said Spokane County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sgt. Dave Reagan.
Martin Allen Coe, 38, was booked into Spokane County Jail on possession of methamphetamine for a small amount of the drug found in his pockets and the two warrants, Reagan said.
Criminal charges are pending on the drugs allegedly found in the trunk of the car he was driving.
A report of a suspicious woman in the area of Bruce and Francis on Wednesday night led deputies to Coe, Reagan said. Deputies found Coe’s car and arrested him at a convenience store on warrants for escape from community custody and driving with a suspended license.
A search warrant for Coe’s car was obtained Thursday morning, Reagan said.
