Shooting suspect held for $1 million

KENT, Wash. – A man arrested in connection with the deaths of three people and the wounding of three others in a Skyway shooting was ordered held on $1 million bail Friday.

Dimitri Sidorchuk, 23, and a friend, William Shane Belk, opened fire on a stranger’s car in Sidorchuk’s driveway following an argument early Thursday, according to a probable cause statement filed in King County Superior Court. Sidorchuk fired at least 20 shots, one of which struck and killed Belk, the statement said.

Two of the five young men in the car were killed, and the other three were injured. The two dead were identified by the King County medical examiner’s office as Souatha Nhem, 23, and Sophea Sun, 20.

The King County prosecutor’s office said it expects to file charges by Tuesday.
